LUXA Velveteen Matte is a no-wipe gel top coat designed to create a smooth, soft-matte finish with lasting durability.
Its stain-resistant finish makes it especially loved by nail techs and hairstylists. Most surface stains, including hair color, can be removed by gently wiping the finished nail with isopropyl alcohol.*

For longer-lasting matte wear, apply LUXA Base beneath Velveteen Matte and fully cure each layer.
Cure Time:
LED: 60 seconds
UV: 2 minutes
Curing times may vary depending on your LED/UV lamp.

REMOVAL
- File surface of Luxa Velveteen Matte with a file or e-file, down to the gel color.
- Apply cotton and 100% acetone. Wrap with foil firmly. Let sit for 7 - 9 minutes.
- Remove foil with twisting motion focusing light pressure on the nail bed. Remove any remaining gel polish from nail bed with an orange wood stick or cuticle pusher. DO NOT USE FIRM PRESSURE. The remaining product should scrape off easily. If not, re-wrap with cotton, acetone and foil for additional 3 - 5 minutes.
- Lightly buff nail. Nails are ready for your next service.

HEMA (Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate) is a widely used ingredient in professional gel nail products that helps support adhesion and durability.
LUXA’s original formulas contain HEMA as part of their professional gel system. Our HEMA & TPO-Free formulas offer an alternative for nail professionals who prefer products made without intentionally added HEMA or TPO.

Please note: HEMA-free does not mean allergy-free. All gel products contain acrylates that may cause sensitivity, so proper application and avoiding skin contact are important.
